Lithium tetrafluoro(oxalato)phosphate(LiTFOP) is used as one of the Quality Power Lithium-ion Battery Additives. It can form protective films on both cathode and anode. In high-nickel systems, it suppresses low-valent metal leaching from cathode materials, mitigates capacity decay, and enhances cell cycle performance. For silicon oxide anode systems, it alleviates volume expansion of silicon-based anodes and improves cell cycle and rate performance.
